Last Full Day Before It Begins
Today was the last full day of my current program. I had a nine week program, but cut it a week short because I am starting to train with my new coach next week.
Today was the "extra" day of the cube program. This mean some stuff that didn't fit into the other three days. Overhead presses, close grip bench, and some arm and back work. Lots of the fun stuff, but definitely feeling worn as I wind this program down.
I also took a chance at doing some rowing on a Concept 2 rower. I love these things for their intensity. Spent about 10 minutes doing some rowing, getting used to the movement. This may become a regular in my workouts as I begin planning my "Three Cardios" per week that my coach is having me do.
I think kicking off a new program this coming week will do wonders to revitalize my efforts. A "respawn" if you will, in which I am switching gears and moving to different things. I will also be tightening up my diet much more in the coming week, save of course for the Thanksgiving holiday. While the holiday will throw a wrench in my short term plans, I will get back at it fast and keep moving through.
It all begins Wednesday when I meet with my new coach and we start figuring everything out.
